This is Mia, she suffers from an extremely nasty and rare form of MD (Muscular Dystrophy)  Mia fights daily against the pain this complaint causes her, but still finds time to smile. Her one hope/wish and the wishes of 18,342 members of Biebs for Mia, is for Justin Bieber to find a little time in his probably busy schedule to visit this 5 year old girl who wants so much to see him.

Update for March 13th:
Well it's just after 5:30pm and Mia is passed out! She did another 30 minutes off the vent today and a few hours in her chair. This seems to be all she can handle for now without tiring to much.
She is in good spirits today but very tired, her heartrate is really high again which means she could have the start of another infection so they are watching her closely.
On a sadder note we were informed today that we will be moving rooms again as we are over the C Diff, but none of her posters nor can her cut outs move with her. They have to be bagged up and taken home. Of course this was said in front oof Mia so she was a mess learning she could not take her beloved Justin cut outs to her new room. I am trying to determine if we wipe them down with a bleach cloth will they be able to move, but ID says NO, they have to go home or in the garbage.
so we wait....
